Our Nursery School Team
Nursery School Teacher
Niamh holds a First-Class BEd (Hons) in Primary Education with specialism in Nursery and Physical Education.
Niamh’s passion for physical education drives her enthusiasm for encouraging the children’s physical development of fundamental movement skills and both gross and fine motor skills. Her energetic and enthusiastic personality allows her to interact with children at their level and encourage them to ‘have a go’ at everything.
Niamh values each child as an individual in the classroom and recognises the unique qualities each member brings. Her creativity is evident through her fondness of art and she loves to create fun, engaging (and often messy!) art lessons for the children to explore and develop their own creative ability through child-led activities encouraging individuality and expression.
Being an animal lover and a nature fanatic, Niamh shares our passion for outdoor education, believing it both satisfies and encourages children’s curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Niamh has always had a passion for the Early Years and strongly believes in a play-based broad and balanced curriculum, that empowers every child. Ultimately, she strives to provide activities that foster children’s holistic development, social skills, and independence at every opportunity, in a fun, engaging and safe environment that enables every child to flourish and reach their full potential.

Nursery School Assistant
Gillian has a wealth of experience having worked within child care settings for over twenty five years. She holds her NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Child Care and constantly seeks to develop her practice through continuing professional development. Gillian is particularly interested in investigating how children learn best and recognising that every child is unique, she finds ways to ensure that all children can achieve.
Gillian loves the opportunities that Primrose Hill Nursery offers her in teaching young children. She loves to cook with the children but is most at home when she is outside exploring nature, gardening or playing in the mud!
